Hydraulic Motor Bearing Supports and Overhung Load Adaptors
Flowfit hydraulic motor bearing supports, also known as overhung load adaptors or OHLAs, provide additional support for hydraulic motors connected to pulleys, sprockets, gears and other driven components.
They are designed to isolate external loads from the hydraulic motor shaft and internal bearings. This helps reduce wear, prevent premature component failure and extend the operating life of mobile, agricultural and industrial hydraulic systems.

How a Hydraulic Motor Bearing Support Works
When a pulley, gear or sprocket is mounted directly onto a hydraulic motor shaft, the motor may be exposed to radial and axial forces that its internal bearings are not designed to support continuously.
A hydraulic motor bearing support transfers these external loads through a separate bearing assembly. This reduces the force placed on the motor shaft, bearings and seals while maintaining an effective connection between the hydraulic motor and the driven equipment.
