Each assembly combines an electrically controlled clutch, a V-belt pulley and a matched Group 2 or Group 3 hydraulic pump in one convenient unit.

Available with a choice of pump displacements, flow rates and clutch torque ranges, these assemblies provide a practical way to engage or disengage a hydraulic pump remotely whenever hydraulic power is required.

How Does an Electromagnetic Clutch Pump Assembly Work?

When the correct DC electrical supply is applied, the electromagnetic clutch engages and transfers rotational power from the V-belt pulley to the hydraulic pump. Removing the electrical supply disengages the pump drive, allowing hydraulic flow to be stopped without shutting down the main engine or drive system.

This controlled engagement makes electromagnetic clutch pump assemblies particularly suitable for vehicles, mobile equipment and machinery where the hydraulic pump only needs to operate on demand.

Group 2 and Group 3 Hydraulic Pump Options

Our range includes assemblies fitted with Group 2 and Group 3 hydraulic pumps, covering multiple pump displacements and flow outputs. Selected models are supplied with Walvoil hydraulic pumps.

The stated flow rate for each product is based on operation at 3000 rpm. Actual hydraulic flow may vary according to operating speed, system pressure, oil viscosity and pump efficiency.
