The Walvoil SD18 Type 2 Double Acting Hydraulic Spool is designed for use with compatible Walvoil SD18 hydraulic directional control valves. Featuring a 3-position, double-acting configuration, this replacement spool provides directional flow control for hydraulic cylinders and actuators used in agricultural, mobile and industrial hydraulic applications.
The Type 2 spool connects both A and B work ports to tank in the neutral position, allowing pressure at the work ports to be released through the tank return path. This distinguishes it from Type 1 spools, which have A and B closed in neutral. Suitable for replacement, maintenance and repair of compatible Walvoil SD18 hydraulic control valve assemblies requiring an open-to-tank neutral configuration.
Important Note: This Type 2 spool has A and B connected to tank in neutral. It should not be used as a direct substitute for a spool with A and B closed in neutral unless the hydraulic circuit is designed for this configuration. The neutral flow path may allow a connected actuator to move under external load. Confirm the correct spool type and valve compatibility before installation.

Orders are processed and shipped during standard working hours (08:30–17:00 BST), Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). All orders placed before 4pm Monday to Thursday and 3pm on Friday are normally processed and despatched on the same business day, subject to stock availability.
Build and assembly orders may require additional processing time. This includes, but is not limited to, hydraulic power units, gearbox and pump assemblies, hydraulic hose assemblies, and motor/engine pump sets. Due to current demand, these types of orders are currently experiencing an estimated additional 2–3 working days before despatch.
During periods of particularly high order volumes, delivery times may be extended further. Please allow additional time in transit for delivery once your order has been despatched.

Collection: Customers are welcome to arrange collection using a courier of their choosing, or collect in person from our depot in Ludlow, Shropshire. Please advise us in advance so we can ensure your order is complete before collection.
