Group 2 Hydraulic Mechanical Clutch & Pump Assembly. Typically cast in mechanically-resistant iron or housed in shell-cast aluminium, our models are designed for connecting gear pumps to power take off systems.
- Pump direction of rotation is clockwise.
- Anti-clockwise is available upon request.
- All clutches are bi-directional.
When coupled with our range of gear pumps we recommend to engage and disengage the pump when the directional valve is in the unload position at a speed of no more than 1800 rpm. In the reversible position the max engagement and disengagement speed is 1000 rpm.
Lubrication
SEA 90 gear oil must be put in the mechanical clutch prior to use - please note we do not supply the gear oil and will not accept responsibility for customers not putting oil into the clutch unit. Change the oil after the first 60-80 hours and then every 12 months or 1500 hours which ever falls first.
Maintenance
Please check the oil level via the special oil window every 50 hours. Working temperatures should not exceed 120 degrees Celsius under a continuous duty cycle. Specify the correct mechanical clutch Please check if you are unsure how to apply and use this product. Speed, flow and pressure have a big bearing on selecting the correct combination. If unsure please message our sales department via the eBay messaging system.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by 1–2 days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Collection: Customers are welcome to arrange collection using a courier of their choosing, or collect in person from our depot in Ludlow, Shropshire. Please advise us in advance so we can ensure your order is complete before collection.
International delivery rates & estimates
Shipping charges depend on weight and destination country and are calculated and displayed at checkout. Orders for delivery within the EU typically arrive on a 2–5 day service (depending on the destination). Shipments outside the EU typically arrive on a 3–7 day service (depending on the destination).
