Filtrec Level Indicators

Hydraulic level indicators, also referred to as fluid level indicators, serve the purpose of monitoring fluid levels in tanks and hydraulic systems. These indicators and gauges are installed on the system and typically include a glass window for fluid level visualization.

A diverse selection of liquid level indicators caters to various needs. Some provide a simple visual inspection, while others offer additional data, such as a gauge or a thermometer for temperature readings. The key types are:

• Column level indicators utilize a see-through column with a scale to exhibit the fluid level. These indicators come in different lengths depending on the scale they can measure, ranging from 30 mm to 200 mm. The choice of scale length is determined by the specific application.
• Sight Glasses, also called oil sight glasses, are transparent windows affixed to a tank for visual level monitoring. These glasses provide a swift method to check oil levels but lack a scale like column indicators. They typically connect to the system using a threaded connection with a rubber seal. Some oil level indicators may include a metal contrast screen and a level point for convenient measurement.
